VIES API Checker – New version with many fixes and support for batch requests
A new version with numerous fixes and support for batch requests. To meet the expectations of our customers, we are systematically adding new features to our tools and applications. After adding a batch mode for sending requests using two asynchronous functions to the programming libraries, it was time to refresh the VIES Checker application.
Batch mode
Batch mode was introduced in version 1.2.8 of the application and is enabled by default. While it can be disabled, we recommend leaving it enabled for optimal application performance. Batch mode is intelligently enabled for all records that could not be checked correctly the first time, for example, due to excessive VIES load: The maximum number of concurrent requests has been reached (MS_MAX_CONCURRENT_REQ).
Check for update
Another significant change is the availability of an installer version of the application (setup.exe), which also has a built-in update checker, ensuring you always have the latest version of the application.
Other improvements
- progress bar when loading and saving files,
- added the ability to save the verification progress to a log file (the Save Log button appears after the verification is complete),
- added a text encoding to the CSV configuration (default system, UTF-8, UTF-8 with BOM).
The available documentazione has, of course, been updated, and both the portable (ZIP) and installer (EXE) versions of the application are now available for download from the Download scheda. Of course, both shared files have also been security-checked to ensure they don’t contain any malware.
